Following their placement, students will be asked to
- complete a SWBio DTP PIPS report. An example of the report can be found on our placement forms webpage.
- give a short presentation to their student cohort at our Annual Student Careers Conference. The presentation will cover areas such as how they found their placement, their experience during their placement and how they stay connected with their host after the placement.
- include a student profile on our placement database. This takes information included in the report and is shared on a password-protected site to our student cohort. This includes: overview of the organisation, main duties and responsibilities, what they most enjoyed about their placement and a top tip.
Please contact the SWBio DTP Hub (swbio-dtp@bristol.ac.uk) for further information about hosting a PIPS student.
