Placement offered

yet2 is seeking a placement student to assist technology acquisition and commercialization projects with our global clients. The successful candidate will work with yet2 Project Leaders and Innovation Managers to help execute projects.

Key elements of the role will be to assist “tech-buy” clients in searching for, assessing, and acquiring new technologies (technology scouting).

Major responsibilities and deliverables may include:

  • project execution (i.e., work with project team to deliver work product that leverages yet2 capabilities and exceeds client expectations)
  • report writing (i.e., contribute to drafting reports and presentations for clients deal facilitation (i.e., reinforce momentum and avoid hurdles, to convert promising Introductions into completed transactions)
  • drive repeat business (i.e., build trust, momentum and insight at key clients, in order to translate successful projects into future engagements)
  • presentation (i.e., clear and confident communication with multi-stakeholder, technical client teams of varying seniority)

The ideal candidate:

  • has aptitude for technology, research, scouting and commercialisation
  • is a self-starter
  • has an appetite for delivering valuable projects
