For more than a decade, it offers environmental solutions for waste treatment, which include lines microorganisms based and recently, it opened the fermentation unit specialized on sporulated bacteria and microbe-based biostimulants. We are progressing with a new Biostimulant division in addition. | |

The placement is for students with microbiology experience for isolation of soil bacteria with nitrogen fixing capabilities. The project will include sampling of plant roots, soils, and plants, culturomics and possible identification with biochemical test (API). The placement will be an excellent opportunity to show case the microbiology skills but at the same time, to learn about the current trends in the market of biological biofertilizers. The lab has support and background experience in this area, as well as, in genomics and transcriptomics, microbe interactions which could enrich the student experience. |
